Safety
Volvo conducts over 400 crash tests every year. Volvo cars are consistently amongst the top rankers in various crash tests conducted all over the world. Since 1970, Volvo has investigated over 36000 real accidents. This has given Volvo the unique ability to learn what works in real life and what doesn't-- knowledge that helps Volvo improve, innovate and help save lives.

Features like Approach and Home safe lighting, Remote control central locking, Side Impact Protection system (SIPS) and Whiplash Impact Protection System (WHIPS), Dynamic Stability and Traction Control ( DSTC) ensure the most comfortable and safest driving experiences.

Quality
With an average age of 18 years for a Volvo car, what more can you expect.
The seats and trims are fitted with the finest Scottish leather-- the Sovereign hide leather. Like all Volvo leathers, it is organically tanned and ages beautifully.

Making life more comfortable for people with allergies or asthma, the upholsteries comply with the Oeko- Tex Standard 100- an international benchmark ensuring that textiles and leathers are tested for certain allergy inducing or harmful substances.

The Dynaudio-- Symbolic of Volvos approach to music, together accoustic engineers at Volvo and Dolby have developed Dolby Pro Logic II to make listening experience just as life like at each and every seat of the spacious Volvo cars. To power the system, a new digital class D amplifier delivers a pure and plentiful sound  directed via the loud speakers. Known mostly by professionals Dynaudio makes monitors for top recording studios across the globe.

The Continuously controlled Chassis Concept ( Four C) now provides a choice of three distinctive driving modes -- Comfort, Sport or Advanced. Whichever you chose, the system monitors the car, road and driver 500 times a second simultaneously adjusting each shock absorber to maintain optimal handling.

Environment
The fore runner in Environmental care, Volvo adopted a new, pro-active environmental policy in 1945 and since then, has been graded as number 1 in environmental care. In 1991, Volvo was the first to produce a CFC free car and its pain shop at the Torslanda factory was judged as the cleanest paint shop in the world. In 1998, Volvo introduced the PremAir, which converts harmful ground level ozone into pure oxygen and each Volvo car has PremAir as standard coating coating on its radiator. In 2001, Volvo developed new methods by which 85% of Volvo cars by weight can be recovered. This is the highest amongst all car manufacturers.
